Ingo Maurer started to design exceptional lamps, lighting systems, and objects in the middle of the 1960s, which his company has continued to produce and distribute worldwide. Because of this far reach, the team at Ingo Maurer can realize their ideas without compromise. Manual production by hand is an integral part of Ingo Maurer’s corporate philosophy. With the help of suppliers that place a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, many of them from the Munich region, any design can become a reality. 

Since the passing of Ingo Maurer in 2019, his creative team – which he referred to as his co-workers – continue to carry on his creative legacy as a “Poet of Light.”
